Truth be told, there was something I'd always wanted to try. This model is the realization of that dream. What I wanted to do was: 'Create the ultimate goggles, packed with the factory's absolute best technology, regardless of cost!'
During a recent business trip, I ended up at a factory renowned for its incredible technical prowess. The president there happened to be the same age as me. He was a total goggle enthusiast, so much so that even super famous major manufacturers in Europe and America sought his expertise.
Thinking, “This guy's got potential,” I toured the factory for about an hour, chatting casually before getting to the point. 'I love goggles, and I get your obsession. If you're that good, I don't care how much it costs—make me the best goggles you can.'
He thought for a moment, then grinned and readily agreed, ‘Sounds fun. Let me do it.’
What he created was a magnetic type: the frame uses 20 semi-permanent magnets fixed at 10 points to hold the lenses in place.
And polarized photochromic lenses. These lenses are seriously the best. They've managed to embed both a polarizing sheet and a photochromic sheet into the lens! Plus, the range of light adjustment is incredible.

And because manufacturing these goggles doesn't allow for efficient use of factory lines, production is low. This season, they're a limited release of only 300 pairs.
